A Bit About Me

I believe that each person has innate beauty and wisdom; has purpose and value; and, that we are all inherently creative. Yoga provides us the platform to delve into aspects of ourselves that help unfold and enhance our experience of life.

My desire as a yoga teacher is to provide a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where people can explore ways to enhance their yoga practice – and ultimately, their life. This can be a physical yoga practice (asana), meditation, chanting, or studying the philosophy of yoga.

Each student brings with them a uniqueness in how their body moves – or doesn’t move! Finding ways that each student can work with their uniqueness is a complete fascination – I believe it is possible to practice yoga in a way to meet every student's needs when we allow our curiosity, creativity, and willingness to experiment flow freely.

I currently teach a weekly, gentle Hatha Yoga class, and a weekly Yoga for Breast Cancer Related Lymphedema class.

I completed my first Yoga Teacher Training with Mona Warner in 2010, and my Advanced Teacher Training with Mona in 2014. I continue to study with her whenever possible.
